Message	to the engine. So even if it were frozen solid in a block of ice the boost charge would still flow to the engine so no it wouldn't choke off the engine. Now if you drove your car into a snow bank and completely buried the car then that could possible "choke off" the air supply to the motor. In that case, however, I don't think you need to be concerned about driving it anymore.
